Exceptional know-how:
Over 175 years of experience, love and work, have enabled our family to acquire expertise on the selection of the best productions from the Bas Armagnac,
distillation methods and breeding of this eau-de-vie specifically French.
A Family Heritage:
Our family has two cellars multicentenaires:
One on the banks of the Baise: Pont de Bordes (Lavardac) in the Lot-et-Garonne, the cradle of wine marketing (marketing which at the time was by waterways).
This aging cellar, a real "eco museum," was kept in the same spirit as it was founded in the nineteenth century. It is considered by experts as an exceptional place to aging due to the presence of the river Baise, which creates remarkable isothermal conditions. It offers the best conditions of aging for older vintages.
The other Mauleon d'Armagnac, located in the great Bas Armagnac where Maniban Castle, an area that belongs to us, surrounded by vineyards, planted three varieties: White crazy, Colombard, Saint-Emilion .
A property in the Grand Bas Armagnac:
By becoming owner of the Castle of Maniban, located in the heart of Armagnac, which dates from the sixteenth century, we take care of the cultivation, production, distillation and aging of Armagnac.
Our area is surrounded by vineyards planted three varieties: the Folle Blanche, Colombard and Saint-Emilion.
We have remained true to supplies from the Bas-Armagnac, known for giving the finest eaux-de-vie.
