Established in the first century BC by the Romans, the vineyards of Gaillac is one of the oldest French vineyard. In his heart, Labastide is the oldest winery in the Tarn. Winegrowers defend since its inception in 1949, the production of quality wine and has always be innovative. The Cave has always be innovative, it is notably illustrated in 1957 by creating the Gaillac Pearl which has contributed to his reputation and that of the vineyard.
Labastide is now the largest winery in the Tarn. Realization of efforts to improve the quality of its products is the first entretreprise Midi-Pyrénées to have achieved the double in 2002 and ISO 9002 certification Agri-Confiance.

Founded in 1929, the "Cave des Grands Crus Blancs" sealed the union of two wineries neighboring villages and Vinzelles Loche. This combination has allowed growers to bring their talents and expertise to give birth to their areas prestigious appellations of Burgundy and Beaujolais. Thus, year after year, they managed to select parcels of the vineyard where the subtle marriage of terroir and grape gives the wine its personality, while retaining the traditional winemaking methods. Building a tasting room in 1965 and the establishment of new offices in 1991 can accommodate and inform fans in the best conditions.
