At the heart of Champagne, in the charming village of Mareuil-sur-Ay, there is a house champagne independent family for nearly 200 years. It all began in 1818 when Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon combined to give rise to a Champagne house primarily concerned with its excellent wine.
Since then, every family member has sought to continue the family tradition while remaining faithful to an immutable oath: "Focus on quality, strive for excellence."
Jewel of the best of the Champagne tradition, BILLECART SALMON House oscillates between excellence and high standards, eager to pass on his love of champagne while cultivating a certain amount of mystery.

Since its foundation in 1849, Maison BINET has always been striving for a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Every champagne-making traditional step is scrupulously respected to reveal for each cuvée, an exceptional champagne.
Our Elite cuvées are vinified in separate parcels and have aged on the lees for at least three years. Our vintage cuvée Médaillon Rouge has been aged in cellars for five years at least and is not released until we believe that the wine has developed the quality and class we expect from him.
Maison BINET is the legator of a tradition and a style claiming that loving champagne is to love people. People that create champagne, people that enjoy champagne.
