In 1916 Jules Armand bought the property located at Valentons, St Loubès. The castle and the castle Bois Malot Valentons Canteloup are currently sold on five continents. The vineyard is managed Farming since 1998 (management treatments and reasoned work based on actual needs and not systematic, with respect for the environment), certified in 2007 with a specialized technical monitoring. The soil is in the majority. The harvest is embedded with mechanical sorter and then pass on a manual sorting table.

In 1689, the year of birth of the writer and philosopher Charles Louis de Secondat, baron de La Brede and Montesquieu, the castle was sold to the family of the Currency. He then went into the Cursol family until the early nineteenth century. Bought in 1814 by General Stephen Donna aide of Joseph Bonaparte, King of Spain, going on in the family of Beaumont who sells it in 1892 to Mr. Honoré Picon Gonfreville whose heirs sold it to André Abadie in 1940. Philippe Pieraerts bought to the heirs of the latter in 1981. that same year was bought Château Carignan Leon also located in Bordeaux. The property is now owned by Andy Lench since late 2007.
