At the foot of the vineyards of Clos du Château old Cistercian that takes up our field, in the heart of the wine village of Meursault. The vineyard work is a family tradition for 9 generations. In 2006, Philippe Bouzereau son takes turn leading the field to perpetuate the know-how in the development of the great wines of Burgundy. Since 1967, the castle was owned by the Marquise de Roussy de Sales who succeeds his aunt Marquise de Montaigu. She began, in 1968, very extensive restoration of the buildings. Since 1972, overall the site, castle, cellar and gardens are classified as Historic Monuments.

Very soon, a new direction began with the desire to create quality wines. Thus a handful of locals believed it, helped each other and have initiated the name of the Pic Saint Loup. Follows a restructuring of the vineyard, the first clearings on old pasture land, first bottling in 1984 and here Bernard Durand to conquer national and international markets.
