Since its inception, the CH House. & A. PRIOR door noble values of the taste of fine work, patience, discretion and respect for tradition. Champagnes CH. & A. PRIOR are developed mainly around Chardonnay and Pinot Black. Chardonnay grape variety of choice for the Côte des Blancs, come from vineyards of Vertus, while the Pinot Black is selected from wines of the Montagne de Reims. Pinot Meunier that enters the assembly Cuvée Brut Grand Prior comes from the vineyards of the Marne Valley.
Each bottle rests as there are more than 100 years in the stone cellars, dug in 1880. A magical place, steeped in history where the excitement is born. In a quest for excellence, the House is required a minimum aging time of 3 years, which allows the flavors to develop and become more complex slowly. Chicoree du NOrd is a traditional family business and chicory roasting. Since 1934 it is on the same site as four generations of the same family, Paul, Louis and Agnes Vincent and now proceed to the transformation of the chicory root, produced by farmers in the area surrounding the company. We are the second roaster chicory in France.
