Agricultural Cooperative of Noirmoutier was born May 6, 1945: tired of being exploited, the noirmoutrins peasants had decided to establish a working tool enabling them to pool all the resources and support mutualism, to better the future.
For a long time, life on the island was punctuated in the fall with the seaweed collection on the shore, at Candlemas for early planting, and then in the spring with the uprooting. The creation of the Cooperative allowed to continue and to pass these traditions while becoming a promotional tool essential to the famous premieres varieties produced on the island.
With it, the craftsmen farmers Noirmoutier carry high and far the reputation of their island while maintaining a thriving agricultural activity there. "If the Coop did not exist, we would not be there and there would be no agriculture on the island" evidenced members.
Agricultural Cooperative Noirmoutier's 35 members spread over 400 hectares.

Anchored in the heart of Saumur, in the commune of Allonnes since 1936, the cooperative has CAFPAS through and participated in agricultural changes in the region. A cooperative origin of vegetables and seeds, it will be one of the first to offer apples and pears from the 1970s.
In the early 90s, it merged with the SICA Poitou Vegetables to work the Echalion and potato plants and expand its range. Anjou gardeners then become the Gardeners of Anjou and Poitou.
Since 1991, the marketing of apples, pears and cherries is assured by the sales office BVL. The latter proposing offers the widest of the Loire Valley in these products.
In 2010, to meet the development needs of the cooperative Echalion a new building of 5000 m², in the municipality of Mirebeau in Vienna, dedicated to the storage and packaging of Echalion and potato plant .

Our cooperative is specialized in the manufacture and marketing of Cantal AOP in raw and pasteurized milk, MOUNTAIN TOMME raw milk and pasteurized milk TOME FRESH.
Located on the volcanic plateau Planèze and limited by the Truyère south, Margeride in the East and the Alagnon valley to the north, the weather conditions give our products a unique location.
