"AUX Anysetiers DU ROY" was originally a restaurant in the heart of old Paris, the Ile Saint-Louis, near Notre Dame. The building dates from the seventeenth century and is classified as an historic monument. This used to be a cabaret. LOMBARD the family is originally from Provence, the restaurant specialized in the cuisine of Provence, made of olive oil, aromatic herbs, garlic, ... It was one of the first restaurants to serve with grilled meats herbs. Very fashionable in the sixties, you could meet celebrities such as Salvador Dali, who dedicated a small pot of herbs de Provence, Brigitte Bardot, Jerry Lewis, ...
Each client received at the end of dinner, a gift: the small pot of herbs de Provence, special blend composed LOUIS LOMBARD who was the first to include lavender flowers in aromatic herbs.
The success of this little pot was so he gave us the idea to manufacture and market a range of grocery products packaged in fine terracotta pots and bottles of sandstone. We create our own recipes, special blends aromatic herbs and spices, mustards, vinegars, marinated olives olive oil with herbs, sea salts and peppers flavored with herbs, teas, honey, flavored, chocolate fondues ... Pots, jars and bottles are manufactured in a small village in the Drôme, near Valencia, south of Lyon. They are packed manually.
