Philosophy's Clos des Augustins reflects this preservation of the natural environment and a culture of respectful vine plants and living things. To be consistent with our beliefs, since 2004, our work in vineyard, winemaking and farming are decided based on lunar phases. The use of sulphites limited to the minimum extent required for the proper conservation of wine, yields controlled to promote health of the perfect berries. We work throughout our vineyards according to the methods of organic farming, the latest acquisitions of vines being conversion. We apply biodynamic preparations on the ground and the plant. For treatments, we manufacture our herbal decoction of plants and flowers, sprayed according to lunar rhythms.
